Erica-Denise Solomon participates in candidate forum, highlights path forward for District 35
On Monday, candidate for State Senate District 35 Erica-Denise Solomon successfully participated in the first of several candidate forums, sharing her clear vision for leadership with voters ahead of the crucial Nov. 18 Special Election.
Hosted by the Cobb County Democracy Center and community partners, the event brought together five of the six candidates who qualified for the vacant Georgia State Senate District 35 seat. During the event, hosted at the Boy Scouts of America’s headquarters steps from Truist Park in Cobb County, Solomon used the opportunity to present her comprehensive policy platform and demonstrate the leadership necessary to tackle the district's most pressing challenges.
Leadership rooted in community needs
Erica-Denise delivered a commanding performance, highlighting her commitment to solutions derived from her real-world experience. She also extended an invitation to the other candidates present to stand with her in raising awareness on the confusion voters face in having two elections, the Nov. 4 General and the Nov. 18 Special elections, just weeks apart — a reality that could potentially lead to lower-than-expected turnout for the Special Election.
