Erica-Denise Solomon secures endorsement from Georgia WIN List

The Erica-Denise Solomon campaign is excited to announce it has received an endorsement from the Georgia WIN List, the leading organization dedicated to electing Democratic women who champion reproductive freedom and equality across the state of Georgia.

The endorsement provides a major boost to Solomon’s campaign in the final, critical weeks leading up to the Nov. 18 Special Election for State Senate District 35.

In a statement, Erica-Denise Solomon described what an honor it is to receive the endorsement and emphasized what it means for her role as the only woman running for the open seat:

“This endorsement means so much because it reflects the values that drive my campaign—fairness, opportunity, and protecting the rights of every Georgian,” Solomon said. “I’m proud to join a sisterhood of leaders who are shaping the future of our state for the better.”

The Georgia WIN List endorsement directly validates Erica’s core platform, which includes fighting to protect reproductive rights and ensuring women have the dignity and resources to make decisions for their families.

In a statement, Executive Director for Georgia WIN List Melita Easters said the group “is happy to endorse Erica Denise Solomon for the SD 35 special election.”

“As a former journalist, she is a well-trained empathetic listener and storyteller. These are great skill sets for representing a district and skills we teach in our training classes for potential candidates,” Easters said. “During her endorsement interview, members of the WIN List board were impressed with Erica’s energy, enthusiasm and fresh approach.”

With the Special Election rapidly approaching on Nov. 18, this support is crucial for the campaign's efforts.

“Thank you to Georgia WIN List for believing in this campaign, and thank you to everyone walking beside me on this journey,” Solomon said.

The endorsement is a call to action. The campaign needs to translate this momentum into votes and resources in the next few weeks.
